ROUND TABLE

Dear Friends,

My Face Book friend wrote in his wall that, he has viewed a
movie through his cell phone and said, "I  enjoyed it".

Thanks to Technology 3D, 4D.
In those days, we used to walk miles apart to go for a cinema
and that too, in a tented  cinema house. (those days theatres
in villages were roofed by coconut leaves or partially by asbestos
sheets). Audiences were to seat on the sand-bed. Rich class people
would occupy wooden chairs in the back.

Film boxes traveled to miles from city to reach the tent and one show
is over, they had to carry back again to some other theater. People
gathered will raise their voice for starting the show. This is the only
way of recreation for the villagers, as during  that time no media
equipments and technologies developed. But, sipping a cup of tea
or coffee in front of the projector room was really amazing
experience.

At this stage one gentleman ( a responsible person, a representative from
a distributor's office or the tent theater owner as the case may be) come and
announce that, people can retain the counter-foil tickets for viewing the show on the
next day. Viewers' uproar would touch the sky and they would go back
disappointed.
There were no option for the cinema lovers as of now, to repeat the
yesterday's film or some other film in stock with the theater owners.More-
over, the audience would not like to view  repeatedly the same yester-day's
films unless, it would be MGR's or  SHIVAJI's.

As such the odd days we have crossed in those times and now we are
enjoying film even while traveling,  with a 'click' on our cellphone. Thanks
go to the technology developed and at the same time, we miss the
fan-friendship and nice snacks we tasted, all are gone out. Those days
are golden days and would never come back. At least , by sharing this
experience with you all, I am little bit contented.

Thank you,
